Regardless of the vehicle‘s technical setup, it can be configured for stand-alone operation or interaction with modern board computers and control systems.
 
almex. smartfare handles everything from driver-operated ticket sales to the check-in / check-out system, ISO 14443a/b, ISO 15693 or logic cards and software or security module encrypted transaction data.
 
It is based on Windows CE.net and can be modified to accommodate any tariff, backoffice system and vehicle interface.

Data can be synchronised using either the integrated WLAN or through a connection to the wired on-board network.


The almex.optima driver ticket sales terminal ideally complements almex. smartfare, while almex.mobile excels in mobile use and as an inspector‘s unit. All three components are based on the same open platform and support the same card readers.

This reduces the workload in volved in the initial integration of your tariff and transaction data. Any later upgrades such as adding new services, card schemes or third party services are simplified.
